5 April, Pretoria, South Africa - Jazz turned Gospel songstress Swazi Dlamini formerly known as Swazi has reached gold status. The multi-award winning artist known for her powerful vocal chords was awarded with a gold plaque tonight at Attebury Theatre in Pretoria. This happened during the launch of her and her husband's nationwide tour, Alabaster4Winds Tour.
The Kora, Metro, and SAMA award winning musicican, Swazi, has achieved sales exceeding 15 000 units for the album WORSHIP ENLIGHTENED which won the best worship award album in the 2016 Crown Gospel Awards. Handing over the award, Andile Nkosi and Donald Shayi of the distribution label Music Central Africa announced that the album was almost platinum with her latest offering Alabaster Box and that of her husband Tshepo Mngoma, who is also a musician, fast selling at Musica stores nationwide. Swazi and Tshepo Mngoma's Alabaster4Winds Tour continues across South Africa and the greater continent. #MusicCentralAfrica
